Gilford town beach
« on: Mar 01, 2024, 11:00 AM »
I am looking to take my daughter up on Sat. I have not been to gilford town beach in a few years. I’m curious on ice
I was up a couple of weeks ago on winni and there was around 6 to 8 where I was
I do not want to venture far maybe 50’ from shore and of course will check for myself. Just want to know if I need to make other plans.

I would make other plans most of the lake is open now with the wind and warm temps i think the fat lady has sung down this way. maybe north of the notch you may be good.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day teach him how to fish and he will sit there and drink all day!!

I don't know how much ice there is off gilford beach but there was 4 or 5 people out there this morning probably not farther than 150 feet out.  There is open water maybe 150 yards or so out in the bay.
