Next weekend I may be heading out to Lake Elsie, North Dakota. I have been there in the summer with my friend and we just pulled tons of smaller smallmouth off boat docks with soft plastic tubes on jigheads. Does anybody have any recommendations for what I should use and what I can catch through the ice there?

Set up by all the other people. They catch fish but imo it sucks. It'd much rather be out in the middle of nowhere by myself.

It is a good place to fish, I live in hankinson right near elsie and we pull alot of keeper fish from there, the occasional monster gets caught from their, good luck fishing if you decide to come down

and minnows with a glow jig through the back right by the dorsal fin about 1-2 feet off of the bottom in most places is good, look for somewhere around 13 or so feet of water and youll be good for anything from perch and crappie to walleye and northern
~Good Luck~
