whats the best meals that you guys ever had while ice-fishing? i'm always fond of perogies and farmer sausage and fresh fish but i had the best meal of my life last winter.
a friend and i had snowmobiled to the far side of a large northern lake. i had brought the .22 along and while he drilled holes and set the lines i disappeared into the bush and came back 45 minutes later with 3 fat snowshoe hares as we got a fire going and cleaned the rabbits. the tip-ups went off and we hauled up 2 fat walleye each weighing about 3 pounds! we jigged for while and caught 3 more. we ate like kings that day and the pike really like rabbit guts!!
