Got out today on 2.5-3" with gdominy12 and my brother mike. Caught this pike in 7fow, at 715am. My biggest ever...41" 19 pounds. Enjoy.

So get this, my brother puts the picture on Facebook, and a guy who is a local taxidermist, thinks he knows it all... Says he is 100% positive this fish is a tiger musky hahahahah. What do you guys think?

. Oh yeah, great pike especially in NY wouldn't be surprised to hear your scale is a little on the light side.

I called him, he insisted it was a tiger then he saw the digitals MUCH more clear. And said..."ohhh, well, I guess it looked different in the other pics.. Nice pike." hahah

I'd find a different taxidermist even with the blurry pictures. Nice fish had a chance to hammer a bunch the past two days too and landed three between 35 and 38

You should tell him that rounded tail(caudal fin) and light spots on dark means pike. Very nice fish, you're having a hell of a start to this season northernnyice

A small group had a fire on the bank just down from where I was fishing.

I let one younger fellow borrow a scoop in the afternoon because his holes froze up, was that you guys ?

Took line right through my fingers.. I couldn't have stopped its run if I wanted to.. That fish pretty much did what it wanted till I got it to the hole
