Sounds about right. I like to Target bigger fish and was hoping for walleye but am willing to Target anything. I'll explore. It what I like to do anyways. Thanks for the info. Does any know if the ice is safe in the deeper partsof the lake by McDaniels. That may make my decision for me.

Go north for Walters.  They’re in there but your odds are better at pyme.  Unless you’re in with the few who consistently catch them and they’re tight lipped at that.

lLet's just hope this ice can stay for a bit longer. Besides, I'd like to get this things worth of use this season. I'll be heading around the 528 launch and working north along the weeds. If I get into the fish, I'll let you guys know ASAP. It's been a tough year, and I share knowledge. We're anglers, right?

I'llbe going out Saturday morning... Ish. If you're willing to get a double dose and go Saturday as well, I'll be with one of my buddies, and we can meet up then.

Pending work I plan to go out at least in the evening from 4-7 or when the bite stops. Not sure where I will end up yet

Looks like I'm fishing Friday night, all day Saturday and a few hours Sunday. Might as well take advantage of the cold since it's going up to 60 next week. Anyone know the ice thickness muddy Creek/ church area???

I'll, for sure, be going out Saturday. I may go out Sunday, warm weather permitting, as well. I'll be either around the lower 528 launch, old 422 launch, or towards bear run if I can find a spot of weeds. I drive a newer grey Subaru hatchback, so look out for me. If you guys see me, come up and say hi! Hopefully I'll get into the fish this weekend since this may be the last chance of the season. If I do, you guys will be the first to know.

Where is the closest open bait shop to get some shiners at.  I will be coming from Butler direction and will be fishing at the church.  Also what time will it be open.  Thanks in advance.

Fished 10-11 foot of water behind church today, caught fish all day hot times where 9:30-10:30 then 4:30 till dark. Crappies, gills, perch along with 1 bass. All the crappies caught on fathead. Fished multiple jig colors and sizes didnt seem to matter.

Started at 10:30 today,
decent sized bluegill right off the bat on a tip up with a fat head. Finished at 3 with catching a perch. Fished around 528 launch in 8-11 feet of water. Used everything today, but had the most luck on fat heads.

Might actually get out tomorrow!  :o     Just about got the new ice-cliner finished up and ready to go, should be a good day for that.  ;D

Probably going to start off at MC, then go from there, seemed like a lot of people on the ice today.  Also, got a tecumseh magnum iii power auger for sale if any one's interested, will have it with me tomorrow.

Hopefully making it out to 528 launch around 7 or 8 am. White dodge ram, grey striker bibs, and very little gear. Stop and say hello!  ;D
Go where the wind takes you.
