Anyone know the status of ice on Spruce Knob Lake?       Saw a post on Facebook about ice on the lake early this week.

I was up there week before last and was able to stand about 7-8’ off of the bank. Was passing through over the mountain for work so only having on blue jeans and no safety gear I didn’t venture out any further. That was before that warmup though. After the past 6 days of below freezing/average of 15-20 degrees day/night I can’t imagine it’s not fishable. I was thinking about going up tomorrow to investigate it. Wanted to go today but figure give an extra day for the bear hunters go get the road good and open.
