Tomorrow for the first time I will be prepairing whitefish. So i started trying to find some recipies on the net , after finding a few sites that gave the standard answer for fish recipies (not that it was a bad one), FRIED. Theres a restaurant at the tip of Door County, WI in Gills Rock called the Shoreline that serves an entire menu of Whitefish delights like those in the link.

My favorite way to prepare whitefish is over an open fire grill, in an aluminum foil boat with butter, almond slivers, some lemon pepper and a strip of bacon over each filet.
