hey mole
a bibbit is a small curved jig  probably 1/32 of an oz .Quite popular here in vt if you can immagine a maggot
impailed on a bent shaft hook and painted in a vibrant color ..usually polkadotted...
I have tried them for perch with moderate success nothin great i tried searchin the web for a pic...no luck
maybe i will post one later.. I think they are called dots elsewhere
