Does this count? Not allowed to use vehicles in my area.

I’ve never used an ATV for fishing but I recently resurrected a Polaris Ranger and am messing around with it trying to figure out how I want it set up. It’s still in the beta stage. Look forward to see all the pictures on this thread for more ideas.

The monster box on the sled is a cool idea! Do you have 2 or swap it? How did you attach it?

Hi JTrottaNY,

I do have 2.  The one on my ATV is mounted with the supplied U-Bolts that come with the box.  I like the U-Bolts because they do not take up any room inside the box however they are not designed to be removed on a regular basis.

My snowmobile tunnel has a rack that accepts Polaris lock and ride accessories so I mounted that one with "Grip Pro" 1 inch lock and ride plugs so that I can remove it easily when I want to hit the trails once in a while. I'll add some pictures below.

'New-to-me' sled ... 2015 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry 600 E-TEC. Can tow my old covered sleigh with all the angling gear I'll ever need, but currently set up for quick light running and gunning ... DeWalt DCD996 / K-Drill 8 auger combo (and shovel if needed) held by Kolpin grips mounted on the rear bumper, plus Cabela's tackle bag ... all additionally rubber-tarp strapped to the rear tunnel. I strap-on my custom Garmin ice shuttle backpack while on the move.

Garmin EchoMAP Plus 95sv, Garmin EchoMAP CHIRP 53dv, Garmin GT8HW-IF, Garmin GT10HN-IF, DeWalt DCD999B, K-Drill 7.5"

Finally got around to building my rear rack and setting the wheeler up for the upcoming ice season (disclaimer : I took the ice fishing stuff off after the pics and put it back into trail riding set up for the rest of the summer)

this is the rack I designed.  If I ever do a second one it would use a 2" square tube on the vertical part instead of a reducer. Left the pin out do to needing to oversize the hole by a 1/32" so the pin fits easier. pin in the vertical part is the pin for the hole without a pin.

this is the tub and the rack both.

This is the front carrier. going to replace the factory bracket with one that I will build. it will move the carrier closer and raise it level with the front rack when done. By doing this I could put the plow on under the carrier and have room to raise and lower the plow.

this is the whole machine with the carrier in front. only will set up like this when running my XL6000T Garage Hub House. Will be able to drive the wheeler inside the hub and sit on the wheeler and fish.

this is how I will set it up if I want to fish from the wheeler but still carry a small hub should I want to set up and stay in one place for awhile. Front carrier comes off and the plow goes on.

Doing either of these set ups still allows me to pull a sled type house if I want to use one since the rear rack is high enough for a house to clear under it.

also added the following for electronics :

Ram Mount to hold my Ipad which I run Navionics on. off this mount I can attach my phone to the mount too.

Added a FLX 28 to the rear rack in a way that I can sit sideways on the seat and fish off the wheeler but still see the flasher easily.

for safety gear I added a throw bag and will be adding a Nebulus Flotation Pack to the front rack between the auger and the cup holder.

Future plans will be to build a rack to hold my Legend XL one man house and a rack to hold my Nanook Thermal two man house.

Can't wait for the season to get here, although I do want to get a little bow hunting in before hitting ice season hard and heavy this year.

not really that much stuff. the five bucket set up is as follows. bucket with transducer cable going into it is for any fish I would keep to eat. bucket across from it is tip ups. the bucket behind the empty bucket is for rods the middle bucket is my 5lb propane tank and buddy heater the last bucket is for my Vexilar double vision flasher and camera combo. Not shown in the pic is the bracket that mounts to the tub to hold the three buckets in place.

behind the three buckets I have room for a folding chair and small hub and ice scoops and small bait bucket.
