It really varies from lake to lake, but normally this time of year the pike are starting to move out of the deeper water haunts and into the areas just off there spawning areas. If your lake has a feeder creek at the north end of the lake that may be a good area, it will be the area that receives the most amount of the sun's warmth, making favorable for spawning, just be careful around the feeder creeks or river mouths, that ice can be
very very thin so be extra carful. Like Lobes said they will also be close to the foods source so if you can find perch, suckers, whitefish even walleye in that area also you should have a good chance at a pike. Hope this helps
