Good Winter Forecast Great Lakes/Eastern US

Weather.com is calling for well below-average temps for December-February, with far below-average temperatures in February.  After the past few milder winters, I say BRING IT ON!  :tipup: :tipup:

Hopefully this will be a year we can do the walley thing on lake Erie. It's been on my bucket list.  Most went a couple years ago but waited till ice conditions where deteriorating. I'm still kicking my butt for that one.lol

Heck yeah! Making ice here mid west Michigan all this week!
Calling for 40's next week but I'm thinking it's going to change to colder like this week did. If it does ice fishing first week of December. Earliest I've been out of thanksgiving

I'm in the Albany area and lots of the ponds have locked up already. We have a forecast low of 2 on Thanksgiving and 36 plus hours below freezing. There will definitely be safe ice in the Adirondacks this weekend.

Plus the water in the big lakes is cooling down early  @)
