Fishing Tuesday 2/17 and Wednesday 2/18
« on: Feb 20, 2015, 08:57 AM »
Fished Tuesday morning for 2.5 hours or so, got a few perch and gills and finally right before leaving i stuck a nice 3lb bass, when i saw it's head coming through the hole i thought it was 4+ but it was really skinny.

Back out on Wednesday from 8:30-2:30 and had a great day, got 9 smallmouth and one largemouth, a nice 15'' crappie, A few white/yellow perch and a pickerel. Got all the fish from both days jigging artificials. Was a beautiful day, only had a sweat shirt on for a couple hours.

Nice fish!
It is MY responsibility to make sure my children can enjoy fishing years from now. Make sure your kids can fish.  If you see something ILLEGAL Contact the Massachusetts Environmental Police Radio Room at 1-800-632-8075 at any hour of the day. They might show up if there is enough staff working.

Thanks, haven't been getting many crappies this year, All the snow has made it hard to move around much so I've just been hitting the spots where i know the bass are. We should have good ice for a while. Gonna be 40 on Sunday than below 0 a few night during the week and pretty cold temps all week.

Nice crappie! Also like the homemade icepack. What are you using for a transducer?

Looking forward to the results of this little warmup, hope it's enough rain to do some good!

Nice fish man!  I'm envious of your ability to get out mid week, especially a day like we had wednesday!

I got the ice transducer for it, It's nice because you can just drop it in the hole and get a good reading where as with the regular transducer you have to mount it to something to get a good reading
