So you can see my girlfriend went with me so we didn't get on the ice 'til nearly 10:00 but I can't complain 'cause she caught most of them. It took a lot of patience, too, 'cause the bite was veeerrrryy sloooooow with almost nothing 'til noon. But the size was good, lots of 9-10 inchers, and the few dinks I put on the tip-ups; alas, no big fish today but we got 1/3 of a pail before we quit at 3:30. Even though we walked out, you can see people are driving out again 'cause the guy in this truck is the guy with the B414 and he plowed several different roads for us. Wind was brisk in the a.m. but turned, as you can see, into a beautiful day. I had my favorite person with me so it was a very good day, even if she did out-jig me.
