I saw one up behind my house in northern Chenango County (about 7 miles from Lebanon Reservoir) a couple years ago while scouting for deer.  I thought the thing was a bear at first it was so big.  I had my .40 Glock with me, and I wish I had popped it.  At the time I didn't know if it was legal to shoot or not.  It was a big mutha, too.  It had a good 3 inches of tusk on either side of it's snout and a ball sack as big as a basketball.  I was really happy to be on my 4 wheeler that afternoon!
