over $500.00 spent on ice fishing gear in 3 days and gun season starts saturday and the only thing ready is my gun

More than ready for the ice....gear is sorted...looking to buy more...always...
Great last season, never skunked in over 30 times out...just finished all the fish in the freezer a couple of weeks ago.
Time to restock

I might need a guide to show me how to ice those big perch on the pond this season... From the sounds of it you have enough equipment and I wont have to bring my stuff....

well i just bought a 1 man clam shanty and you are NOT going to sit on my lap

i dont own a flasher and prolly wont for a few years. moneys way to tight. but i did get a shappelle hardside shanty from jager61 lastyear. man that thing makes the most brutal of days a walk in the park. but im still a walker...maybe ill try and hitch a ride but i doubt anyone will stop for sasquache

The pool had a skim of ice the other day and got me itching so I went out to the back garage to get the shanty out. Started to open it and noticed a skunky smell. A &*&$#!@$# wood chuck got into it and ripped the canvas all to $h!t. New canvas arrived yesterday will put it on this weekend. Anyone in the market for a stuffed wood chuck?

Conesusguy checking in from beautiful conesus lake. Going to be fishing this lake hard this season (if we ever get ice that is) until I figure out how to catch those elusive waldo's this season. Only caught a few pike last winter but did not fish it much and instead slammed perch on sodus. Looking forward to the season and hopefully finding myself a fishing buddy who knows this lake.

Last year we were ice fishing the week before Christmas. Lets hope for a replay. The day after the muzzle loader season closes I've got it covered from Sandy Pond to Silver Lake my 1st goal this season is a Tiger Muskie.
