Just crossed over the lake on RT 81, And Big Bay is froze over. Won't be long for you guys now!

lets just see what happens this weekend, this storm is making me nervous.  it seems it will either be a) lots of snow (bad); or b) lots of rain AND snow MELT causing flooding

Well, been alongtime since i've been on here and yes today im going to the bay i heard there was a few peeps on it yesterday!  we shall see................... ....

Wait until it is good and light boys. that has not been capped that long and we got a lot of snow so be carefull out there 8)

Same as I posted on the BS thread.... I walked out 20 or so yards today, saw signs of two sleds from yesterday, both went out in seperate directions. No spud or auger with me, but probably 3 inches of mediocre ice with half of it bare of snow.

I've never known BB as a place to target eye's. I think the Pick's own that bay.

 fished big bay early am,.a few nice gills and a crappie and then the bite stopped,...the ice should be better monday we had 3" or ice, we went out almost to the middle of the bay,...I left as soon as it slowed down around 8:30 or so,...don't walk on the snow tonite fishin' stay on the ice

The fish all left Bernhards this fall, the terns from Willard scared them off, I was told they moved to Cleveland.  ::)
I checked the ice there yesterday, 3/4" of bad ice....
