Has anyone used crayfish in the winter. We get the odd one hanging on a jug tipped with minnow. I've tried using them but to no success.

Never used live but sometimes these work well for asst. panfish.

Used whole on a horizontal jig, and more often pinching it off and using the claw end for a smaller presentation. At worst it looks "buggy" and is something different when they've been hit hard
