If you are going with drill, go with small auger. I have a lazer 5, and I use a 19.2 that I bought at Harbour Freight for $30. I get about 20 holes per battery. Ai Christmas, my wife bought me an Eskimo Mako w/ 8 in bit i have loved it from new until now. It has developed a gas leak from somewhere, and can take 30 or more pulls to get it started. I am not impressed. i am contacting Eskimo to find out what I need to do. Oh yeah, my rope is starting to fray from all the pulling. I may post a new thread to see if I can get some advice. I think it is an awsume auger, that got built on a monday, or friday.

A friend of mine uses an 18 volt Dewalt with a 6" lazer. He drills quite a few holes , then changes batteries.
