Changing blades on my Eskimo power auger
« on: Dec 04, 2004, 09:43 AM »
I've had my Eskimo Barricuda 8 inch gas auger now for a couple of seasons now and I'm thinking about changing the blades on it. It came with the shaving style of blades on it and I'm not sure if I can put the chipper type on it or not. Anyone got any input on this matter and which blades are better?
 Thanks

Mark, I'm pretty certain you have to get the whole auger bit for the quantum(chipper) blades. I know there is a difference in the bits. If you want to find out for certain, contact Ardisam at 1-800-345-6007. They are in Wisconsin so allow for the one hour time difference. If you just want to e-mail them, their address is: [email protected]

Hope this helps.
