I'm kind of hooked on forage minnows and demons.  Seem to work on most every species.  Lots of colors and weights in each one.

Forage minnows, Marmish jigs and after last year, CDs. Have always done well on the Forage minnows and Marmish jigs, but really focused on the CDs last year. I have to say I have had good sucess with all the above on just about all of the bodies of water I fish.

What CD's were you using, Willey Nelson? Lenard Skinard? Guess I'm not up on all the lures out there... whats a CD?

Ah yes.... I hate those things.  ::)  just didn't have the patients for it the few times I tried it.

my problem with the CD is I can't fish more than one hole in my shanty without it swimming and hooking the other line.

I guess I'm a Hali man for my usual 1st presentation.  For Eyes I might tie on a rapala, but the Hali has served me well for most species.

FISKAS

tungston is the future. i think they make the best jig for panfish and especially perch. i can use a bare jig most of the time and catch a lot of fish.

I always have a genz worm and a pimple tied on a couple of rods, they usually stay on all season. This year I'm gonna try to concentrate on using some plastics and small jigging raps w/o bait.

Northland buckshot rattle spoons, little cleos, northlands eye droppers, genz worms, northland whistler jigs, northland fireball jigs.  Lots of northland stuff, lol.  Those are my go to lures for walleye, perch, and sometimes pike.  Bucktails, and tubes for lakers and pike.

Northland Forage Minnow, Buckshot rattle spoon, Chubby Darter, Hali not necessarily in that order. But usually they will all get used throughout the day.   :)
