I will look at a fish that's been caught and say, "that fish is thinking, I feel terrible, must be something I ate".

I said that on my uncle's boat and my buddy responded, "I've heard him say that a million times. " my uncle goes, "wow, a million? You must catch a lot of fish!". My uncle and I busted up while my buddy just stood there shaking his head.

My grandfather would always say once the fish would bite, "Bend da poooolee! Bend da poooole!" It would usually be a 3-4" perch

I still say that all the time.
