What are they?
« on: Jul 18, 2015, 03:09 PM »
I just saw a post from masoneddie that got me thinking about some worms that I found last fall while raking leaves. Wondering if anyone might know what they are.

The  grubs I dig out of the ground are white.

These look like they might be cut worms but I can not see if they have pinchers on the front end. They come out at night and cut off plants in the garden at ground level.

these were under leaves and moss. no plants around. definitely not cutworms. these were too slim. Tiny mandibles. these things were piled up unbelievably. scooped up a handful and had hundreds! must have had 500 in a baggie with the thought of using them for bait but they did not last til the weekend.
