I took one of the Berkley 3 rod vertical rod holder and cut it in half, i then bolted one half on each side of the inside of the shack. So when running and gunning i can carry 6 rods rigged and ready to go.
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't

Think it is best to use it a while.
Find the short comings and modify as needed.
Why spend time and money on things because others are?
Unless of course you already have a specific need.
