finally got out to lyons lake 4 of us piled into a van with 2 pop ups and lots of gear
turned out to be a decent day, drilled holes and setup just after 8and my one friend catches a decent brookie right away and then 5 actually decent sized perch with no worms! in half an hour and that was all for him that day
his brother didnt catch anything till another nice brookie as we were packing up
my other buddie caught 2 nice brooks throughout the day and a nice rainbow right at the end
i caught 3 nice brookies and the biggest of the day! still only 15~"

learned lots first time fishing really shallow and suspending off the bottom, once i figured it out my friends all followed. 3 bites jigging hooked one but got off in the hole :'( must have been atleast 18" it was nice!
everything else was on a deadstick either worm or minnow
ended with 7 brookies from 12-15" a 13"rainbow and atleast 20~ perch from 6-10"
happy i went  ;D

Like the pictures Lostman ;D Way to catch 3 species in one day! Splake i believe is what your holding a hybrid of a Speckled/Lake trout. If you go to Hunt lake you will find the Brooks. ;)

haha yes my mistake i dont trout fish much so i went with what ive seen

Haha yes I plan too, very nice pictures from fob I might have too meet up with u or try there for pike sometime, I fish further out for walleye and usually do good
