               I fished glenmere on sun. 10 to 3  . I did manage to catch a few perch & pickerals
               There was alot of slush & water on the ice, I hope it will freeze up by this coming weekend.
               It was my first time on the lake . :) :)

you live in pb and you went all the way to glenmere to fish? I'm sure there is a better place closer to you to fish than glenmere

ive fished there for lakers and browns through the ice....slowest place ive ever fished....get acouple perch here and there....any fish ive seen out of there has been under 21 inches too

Yeah everytime I have gone to white lake its been slow.. I heard there's nice fish in there :-\. Myth??

Shawn....where are you going to be on Sat.   Are you getting on at Sand Bar or the back end??  I'm going to try to be there also....want to get my bearings for the contest.  Our group is supposed to get together there also on the 19th.  Might be nice to all fish together.

Every time I go there I target the Lakers. Never have got one on the hard water but caught a few nice ones from the boat in early spring. They are there but not in large numbers as far as I can tell. My biggest is 12 pounds and I have seen others a little bigger but not in the past few years.

I have tried just about every trick the guys here have mentioned and I have tried shallow and deep with big bait and flashy pimples on the jig rods. If you do get one all I can tell you is let it go back in if it will live. They taste like mud or dirt and are not worth cooking!

I don't ever remember a big laker being the winning fish at the King contest but I am pretty sure they are the biggest fish in the lake.
