Yep, Thompson custom shop's version of a muzzle break.

Hello from the windy city[Casper] when i am on the ice I carry my Glock 17 9mm in the shoulder holster, and i never leave the house without my Remington model 700 in 22-250, and the 480 ruger super redhawk. Those two stay in the truck.

The wife always has here trusty single shot 22 that my dad gave to her. ;) ;)

You never know what you may run into on the trip to the lake, or at the lake.

Does anyone know the law for concealed-carry when we are outdoors in WY, in example ice fishing? If so please share your knowledge.

 Thanks

It is the same indoors.  It has to be in plain site.  I always have mine under 2 or 3 layers of clothing.  That would be consitered concealed

shoot spud, it doesn't matter if you brought a gun, the coyotes still laugh at you...  you've missed about half the population of coyotes in these mountains, and i think they've come to recognize they're safe around your haunts...

A few years ago, the feds passed a statute called the "Peace Officers Protection Act",  essentially, all active or retired peace officers now have the right to carry in the lower 48, simply annual qualification at the officer's expense. Oh yeah, I'll go to the range every year...and every month...and every week to fire something. I just love the smell of gunpowder! Hey Mooter...what's a "redneck"?   :roflmao:

just the two guns connected to each shoulder!! :roflmao: No handguns as of yet.  It's a matter of time.  Just the boomers... .300 Wheatherby, .o6 springfield, 870 express super mag.  They stay in the gun safe. 870 comes along for the ride often, though.

Ex Lt how do you get a handle like that. To me it means maybe a military history? and from reading your posts I would guess maybe my own Viet Nam generation? Do I have a future as a detective or should I keep my day job.

Very nice deduction, Hammerhead, retired New Orleans Police Lieutenant, but only after 4 years USAF 1965-69, then 25 police service with a dozen years concurrent USAFR. I ended my USAF with a tour with the Air Force Office of Special INvestigations...essen tially, a plainclothes secret-service operation for the Air Force...wouldn't take anything for those parallel experiences. BTW, anyone encoutering a red Ford flare-side pickup with WY plates, "XLT"...Don won't be very far away. Come get me, let's share a beverage!     Now let me see..."Hammerhead"...professional carpenter? And hey, welcome to our site, sir.

I would have to say that they screwed up on that one.  Barrett Firearms of Tennessee has the M82A1 50 semi auto.  They should have supported the home team.  I will add that they don't sell to law enforcement in states that don't allow civilians to own 50's.  These are good old boy trying to protect out rights.  They have huge government contracts and are supplying our troops over in sandville
