we had a blast we also caught  a 7 pounder 6 pounder 4 pounder 3 pounder all walleyes and a 2 pound trout

great catch!! what were you using jig rod or tip-up?

fishingeorge....how long were you out and how much ice is on the lake?  I was told that poison was the only good ice and things weren't lookin very good there....

we were out on poison creek all weekend there was 10+ inches of ice where we were and there were quite a bit of people out there didn't hear much for large fish out there but we seem to have caught a few big ones

eyeaddict did keep the fish and has plans to mount is :) the dorsal fin was like that we he caught it very unique.

Thanks guys we had a blast, fishn was slow but we caught some dandy fish, that's going to be a hard one to beat. Wish everyone luck this year stay safe out there. ;D
Great thing about ice fishing is, if the fish don't bite at least you know the "BEER" will stay cold!

wow guys great job those are some awesome eyes.  i fished there once in a boat but didnt catch any eyes that were nearly that big.

Sounds like a plan trogdor ill be headed down to glendo here soon, I'm anxious to catch a few more of those big "Kitty's" I'm sure we will cross paths again!

The water is usually always murky there but a camera still works just set it closer to your jig.

We had a camera and a vexilar out there, the cam did work but only about 2-3 ft. of visibility. Your right it is usually murky maybe that's why the big fish are up there good for ambushing prey maybe, i don't know something to ponder though. :-\

Pretty soon poison creek bay will look just like swiss cheese with all the holes that get drilled there.
