Great Pond in Great Pond
« on: Feb 22, 2024, 06:59 PM »
Got in a day on the ice and there was 15 inches of mixed ice.  Very slow day and got about 6 fish but was very scenic and worth the trip.  Saw about 5 parties on the ice and none were doing any better than us.  A slow day is way better than no day.

I was on the ice three hours but no popup today and the south wind was cold so i left at 1pm  only a doz perch. but they bit good for 1/2 hr. when the wind picked up they stopped bitting  But they were up off bottom for the first time this winter. and they ran a little bigger 11" average
