Secord or Wixom ice?

What are the ice conditions on Secord or Wixom?

I read a report of 6-7” on Wixom a couple of weeks ago. Have conditions improved or degraded?

I know there is warm weather coming this weekend, but I’m looking at driving up next weekend. I have never been, but will happily make the 5 hour drive for a chance to catch some dink crappie through the ice…….since, there is not going to be ANY ice in Ohio this year.

My dad fished Wixom on Monday. I don't remember how thick but he said there was a bunch of guys out there.

Im not familiar with wixom but secord ice conditins vary greatly from 6 inches to open water in places right now....
