Hello All!! This is my first post! I finally found a great info site for fishing Indiana!! As for the bite, I have been out twice this week after the rain and warmer weather and have marked a lot of fish but very slow and light bites!!  ???

When we went out on saturday I was using wigglers for the first time.... My dad and uncle were using mouseys and spikes. I noticed that my bite was alot harder than with the other bait. Although I only put 3 on the ice, I did catch 5 largemouth after I had given up on gills.  So pretty much I would say this year is starting to look like last years ice season, slow slow light bites (if any)..

The last outting for me was saturday. I caught 6/ 11-14" crappie, 6/ 9-10'' perch, 34/ 7-8" gills. I had to really chase them and alot of sorting, but they bit...

Last trips out were sat. afternoon.   had 25 9-12" perch between two guys and sunday morning had 25 9-12" perch and 15 8-9" gills. Fishing deep.
There is only one theory about angling in which I have perfect confidence, and this is that the two words, least appropriate to any statement, about it, are the words "always" and "never."
