Got a mixed bag yesterday....threw back a ton of smaller gills. Lots a bunch of jigs to the pickerels......landed this guy and he paid the price!!

I fillet some bigger ones and made fish pattys with others ,they are a good fish ,just a pain when they take jigs

if it form .....usually does as tou walk out from the culvert to the left usually forms a gas hole ! I didn't see it! just saying in the past one usually forms down that way

I have never used a gps old school here .i honestly carry a compass , ....when you walk out from the culvert about 100 to 150 feet turn left bout 75 yards down usually is a area that forms a gas hole ...I did not see it this year but I would use caution .....a spud is such a wonderful investment....don't rely on my measurements I'm guessing but that's the general direction but a gas hole can acure anywhere on big bay

I fished in that nasty mess yesterday , had a decent day far as fishing goes , got home and had to dry out everything , ended up with a few meals , having a cold 1 after seemed appropriate 🍺

I and 2 buds stayed away from oneida and chased lakers it was all catch and release we had a double digit morning some keeper size but no good ones , 1 of the guys got a call so he had to bail , those things happen , fun fishing
