trailer/shanty question
« on: Dec 27, 2011, 03:07 AM »
the lakes i go on require registration/insurance for your quad/snowmobile when driving on the ice..

now if you pull a small trailer out on the lake, or a regular flip over shanty with a snowmobile or a quad, is that considered a trailer and has to be registered too??

It probably depends on where you are, here in NY it doesn't. If it were an actual trailer used for road travel it obviously would be.

I think the best answer you can get will come from the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state where you are located.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
