Back from Dixie
« on: Dec 25, 2010, 10:10 AM »
I've just moved back to NY after living in Atlanta and Nashville for 23 years. My brother handed over some ice fishing equipment and I'm rarin' to go. Of course I have not fished thru hard water for almost 25 years so I was hoping I could get some general info from the forum. More about baits and lakes and equipment than anything else. Not looking for anyone to give up a honeyhole. Primarily interested in 'eyes, perch, trout/salmon. Any info appreciated. And no, I don't have a southern drawl.

go to/call a local bait shop.  they have great info for your area

a bunch are here at http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=215122419125987562478.00048c1449e56444f07e7&z=7
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles
