I forgot my Tourney Card  :'(  :'(  :'(

Northern Pike
39.5 inches and about 16 lbs







I had to go to nebraska to get it, but it was worth it. ;D

Congrats on a nice pike . I have caught a few like that from Nebraska back in the 60's . Dang just gave away my age .  :o

WOW....That is one huge fish!

 Don't think I will ever pull anything like that, through the hole! Atleast never on boysen, unless it's a carp. :(

Thanks everyone, one of the funnest catches of my life.

I am probably going to get it mounted. I'm going back to nebraska this weekend to hunt a masterangle blue gill and if i get one i'll mount it with the pike. Preditor vs. prey, should be pretty neat. My grandfater-in-law used to be a taxidermist and he said that he would mount it for me.

Since he will have to skin it to mount it i will probably steak it just cuz it will be easier. I prefer filets but i'll sacrifice to get a good wall mount.

caught one once here that was 39 but it was only 14.5 pounds.....nice fish!!! :P    sucks you forgot your card ;D

This little beauty is getting ready to spawn so she is full of eggs. A state biologist was there and told me that most females will have there eggs and will be ready right when ice out comes.

 I had a vivid dream last night....I got a flag and had a Great battle, come to find out it was a big Northern!  No kidding! :o

 Maybe it's time for me to take a roady......ice fishing trip! ;D

I just found out that a guy earlier this week out did me by 4 inches out of the same lake  >:(. Guess i'll have to go back in search of the loch nest monster this weekend.
