Boysen this weekend.

4 of us greenies are heading to Boysen jan.6-8th.  I figger we will start same place as last year(north muddy).  I'll ask straight out- what and where?   Lots of perch will make my day and the bos are easy up there. We have snowmobiles so access is not an issue. Any hotspots?  Any wally's? Thanx-

Naaaah...that's th' Cator's great sense of humor, fishing's probably as good this year as last...water is 5-6 ft lower...drought...shou ldn't affect Muddy's perch or Greenie-perchers 
     Some skinny about lots of carppie minnows in the fish's bellies, everything else I've heard was good. You should do fine.

I haven't been to boysen either, but driving to work the last week you can see lots of lights on Fremont Bay and North Muddy.  Something has to be going on.  I've heard lots of perch and bows, very few eyes!  Later and good luck, KR

Yes I know that- but all the lakes in colorado are void of fish also!

Sheesh! Timing is everything, I'd love to get out there and see you guys, but after the tests this am at the hospital, looks like i'm headed fer gallbladder surgery this coming week!

I went to tough creek on Saturday afternoon and fished til about noon on Sunday.
Only caught 2 ling had a few misses.
Pretty slow.
Anyone do good this past weekend?

..thanks brother, at least it's not stones...that alkways complicates it. Doc said I could go fishing today so I'll be at Ocean in the drop-in-camper, red Ford p/up...all are welcome to stop by...Dickenson Park first choice or the outlet...whichever I can find a spot.

Wow! I went out there with the camper and almost got blown off the lake...45-plus mph winds. Cut the holes and sat there waiting...waiting...sh eesh! Bailed out. Maybe tomorrow...oh, yeah, there's a lot of open water on the lake now.

We got to the lake on the 5th and left on the 8th.  We fished along the shore near Sandy Hills in 28 feet of water.  Thursday night and Friday saw us losing a lot of minnows to perch.  We did manage to ice a dozen nice perch and a decent ling.  Wind chased us off the lake Saturday afternoon.  We went to Ocean but the wind was bad there as well.  Managed to fish Muddy Sunday afternoon.  Not much action for us though.  Lots of people on the ice.  Many many ATVs.  People driving P/Us on the ice at Ocean.

It looks like the weather is supposed to take a turn for the better the next few days.  Have to take the wife to the Doc on Friday.  Might have to fish some of the closer lakes next week.
