spinner baits through the ice?

Has anyone here ever tried using spinner baits through the ice?

Never have.  But I do use Rat'l Traps all winter long. Catch bass and pike on em all the time. Jig 'em like a pike decoy :tipup:

LOL drill 2 holes 40 ft apart then take a chainsawa and cut a blade width line all the way thru the ice from hole to hole, then walk your pole with spinner bait attached back and forth between holes......watcha think?

Such as?.....

Such as big flashy willow leaf spinner baits or something similar.  Maybe replacing the skirt with a minnow or just adding one and leaving the skirt on.  Just want to know if anyone has tried it.

closest thing ive done is use the flutter bug jigs.
