I hope everyone is excited about this seasons tournament !

I should have the categories posted in the next couple of days.

I should also have the main post, showing prizes, rules, etc., posted towards the end of the week.

This season our great sponsors have generously stepped up so we could enjoy another, our 15th, online tournament. A big thank you to our sponsors !

Finally IceShanty turns 20 years old this season !!!

I was thinking we really do have a great bunch of sponsors each season and I'd like to make a suggestion. I thought if we all took maybe 10 minutes and went onto Face Book , or whatever, and simply "liked" our sponsors that would be one way of showing our appreciation. All the sponsors are located at the top of the page.

Obviously our sponsors support us so when I do make a purchase they are the first place I go.

Hello everyone. I have had a rough couple years and didn't get to chat on here for quite some time. This year I hope to have a couple entries, even if it's just to win a weekly prize. Hope everyone has a fun and safe ice fishing season.

Its pretty easy in the Childs boards at the top of the IceShanty tourney page. But read the rules in a different thread well on how the photos have to be taken and a yellow push pull rule. I'd use IMUR instead of photo bucket for your pictures..

sorry a newbie here.....does the fish have to be the minimum length to qualify for entry? example perch was 15" (i believe) in the categories.?

Lisalisa there is a short area for anything smaller than the top 3 fish in each category. But if you post one of the first three fish they go in the regular categories.

Lisalisa, you were looking at the "Trophy Board." fish must be at least those lengths to enter on the trophy boards.

To enter a fish on the regular board the fish must be at least the legal limit. If there are 3 fish already on the board (say perch) and you get one bigger than one of them you can post it to the petch board. If yours doesn't bump one of the top 3 on the perch board you'd post it in the "short" area to be in the weekly prize drawings.
