Title: Magellan GPS Users?

Gonna make the switch from Garmin to Magellan, due to the fact that I am tired of my phone dying out using the nav app. Curious as to the learning curve of these units. I think I like the touch screen ability to navigate menus but will see when its -10. Like the idea of the built in camera and video capabilities also  Anyone here got any experience with these units?

Don't know about the newer ones, but the older one were not intuitive. That said, I use a Magellan in the car and Garmin fishing...

Is your phone a Garmin? Or are you using a Garmin app on your phone?

I had trouble with Navionics App killing my battery, but I started shutting off the gps on the phone when I wasn't using the App and it's fine now.
