Made it out of vets today with a wheeler.  A lot of heavy snow pulled my clam and with two riders took a lot of work but got it done.  Went out about 2 miles jigged a couple lakers with my buddy.  We had a lot of hookups but lost them.  Ended up icing two lakers.  So made it worth while.

Had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago on hookups.  Maybe you need to tighten your drag.  I did and haven't lost one since.

snow mobiles and atvs were out near indian kettles.. i think they launched from rogers campground.. tough walkin out there but even worse was the bite.. fished with some friends today that were all laying into the perch and literally after 9am.. everything shut down. went back to where they were biting around 1:30 and still coujldn't get a nibble.. holy hell today sucked.

We were in 115ft of water.  Believe wheeler was getting around but she was working.  Wouldn't suggest anything with low ground clearance.

Fished out of bixby between 2 of us 5 lakers. Biggest was 26" 6lbs. Caught one jigging with a ht micro ice and a shrimpo. That was deffinetly a fun time. Caught decents perch in the bay as well. We were the 2nd people out the walking was tough but was worth it!

          !Tight Lines!

micro vibra grub green color has been killer.  having a vex is key as you can detect more slight movements in the fish and also mark your jig,  it can also pick up your jig with ease so u can watch it.  green works well.  using a shorter jig rod will help u work it as well like a 28 inch rod
