I'm heading out of  Vets Park this morning. Going for deeper water. Does anybody know if there is safe ice?

I was fishing 60 - 70 ft off Vets...11 inches black ice.  Good luck
I'd rather be fishing...

Awesome fish BZ! Nice reward for roughing it out. Interesting about the bass. I caught a laker a few years back in LG that had an 11" bass and 6 bluegills in its stomach! Great job and congrats!

Do you use electronics or bounce bottom?    Before I used electronics I foul hook a lot of lakers bouncing bottom with pimples

Your foul hooking fish because there hitting the jig with there tail or there body slamming it happens all the time. You have to have many tricks in your bag to get them to hit all the.And it still dos'nt work all the time. Keep jigging. :icefish:
