thanks guys, the 1st 15 mins started out slow and then blam-o, the fish were swarming around the jig and hit it as fast as I could get it back down to the bottom. 8) Most Awesome-ist hour of fishing yet this season, well worth it.

well, moma is sick the last few days so I was lucky to get out this morning. I stayed home this afternoon with everyone cause moma is starting to fell better and wanted her guys to hang out for the day. Tomorrow is another day.

I might find my way back over there again in the morning for another hour power fishing.

Yes'sir'ry, when I left the house this morning, flying down the road so I could get on the ice with my time restaint, I never would have guessed I would end up with a personal best 15" slob perch.

Sure, why not

but, notice I used a different kind of jig.

I started out with a different color say red and orange, but with in 4 mins or so. I put that rod down and picked up my green and orange double. And I never made it to the other rod with the other color combo. But, I do need to get out and get some of the ones that you were using the other day.

Glad you let them go for the kids to catch. Most people would of kept them no matter what state they were caught in. I release all my big fish except for pickerel. the big pickerel are the only ones that you can get a decent fillete off of. those big perch are to beautiful to keep.

Thanks guys for all the great replies.

I got another great fishing report today.

Took Camo Jr. down to the playground today and had a hard time getting 4 tipups on the ice.

And here is the 1st decent one out of the 1st wave of fish.

And soon after, here is another decent perch. 8)

It went pretty dry for a while and the natives were restless, finally another

and fish.

While we were waiting for flags, we got a moments to get the jig wet

and mustard up some gills.

Then

wow the spool is spinning good, and what is this.

14" of some awesome cutbait, but we let every thing go today for another day of fun.

Back to jigging and hole hoping.

Notice the double hole and one sonar. Camo Jr. keep moving his jig up and saying that I can't catch is jig with mine

playing the sonar fishing game.

Then here is the last decent fish on a tipup.

And give it up for Camo Jr.'s 1st fish on the jig pole.

Not that bad of a perch too.

he was shocked and was so happy that a fish eat his jig. He kept telling me that he wanted what I was catching my fish on, so I told him that his jig was good, just have to keep it down toward the bottom.

Check back later for a link to the videos that I got today, 2 tipup perch and his 1st jigpole perch.

What a great day down at the playgrounds this afternoon. 8)

Camo looks like your kid had a blast at the "Playground".

that is the biggest shiner (we call them fallfish in Pa) i have ever seen through the ice.

If you would of kept it alive at home, im sure some musky or pike would be very appreciative of you when you used him for bait.
