Nice going BIG BIG RDG, you really found a nice mixed species area. All the fish are a good size, but that bass is a really nice size.

Hit 2 new pond today and really hammered the bass and perch. Got a 22" bass on the first flag of the day and a bunch of other smaller fish too.
22" bass How much do you think it weighs?

12" perch

11.5" white perch

Since the day we got good enough ice to fish I have only missed one day.

Im gonna have to miss out on tmra tho. I need a break from chasing those flags, which is never a bad thing of course.

OH yeah that 22 lb bass according to the Northland fishing Tackle C&R card says it should weight around 6.5 lbs but they are a midwest company and I dont know if its a Nationwide avg or a midwest avg anyways id say a 22" should be over 5lbs so questions asked

I got a 21" New York State Largie mounted on a crappy scale it said 5.5lbs and the card says 5.7 lbs so maybe it holds true for northeast largies

Nice job. That bass is a nice one. I'd guess about 5-6 pounds. That one perch is a hog too!

Hit the ice today again. Went to 2 ponds with not much luck, no bass, a couple pickeral, and about 8 crappie and a few perch. Still nice to be out there!!! Wont be out for another week because I got caught skipping school to go fishing

Got out yestarday on Horn Pond and Rock Pond. Got nothing but a couple of dink perch at Horn then moved over to Rock around noon time and got several small bass and pickeral as well as a bunch of sunfish, perch, and crappie jigging. We got a bunch of fish jigging but the flags were not flying like earlier this week $:-\$ Try again on Monday.
