Now on to the pic.  This is a scan of the original brochure of my auger.  I bought it from a retired farmer in Wisconsin who bought it new in 1968.  It is still running strong!

Here is a picture from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.  It's my brother with a small northern.  I love the form and action of the picture.  We had bigger fish, but this was the best action picture.

Sweet pics everyone.  I really like the ghost deer and the action shot of the pike.  I wonder if maybe I have ghost deer around here too, it would explain why I sometimes miss,  :roflmao:.  Just joking, I rarely miss.

We took that moose to my taxidermist who has done 3 or 4 other moose for me. All of the others had 48" wide racks or bigger. He mounted the heads so the antlers would come off for transport. I told my clients this year that the moose they killed was a good one for Southern NH. It was. But my clients asked if their antlers woud be removable and my taxidermist said, "nope your moose is not big enough!" I could have died when he said that!

I'd have to say these are my favorites from the same trip  (I cant pick one favorite) to Northern Door county last summer. We went out fishing the day after the wedding ceremony- she wasnt happy that I made her go, but ended up loving it.

I took my wife fishing on our honeymoon. After about the third day of fishing I knew I had goofed when she started crying.  ;D

I have other photos that are better in a technical sense, but this one will always have special meaning.

Took my son out to a nearby pond one evening this June to drown some crawlers. Using his Spongebob pole, he enticed a bluegill that wasn't quite big enough to pull the bobber under. When the bobber started dancing, I set the hook and gave the rod to him to reel in. I couldn't figure out what his problem was, though ... the drag started whining, and he was holding on to the rod with all his might. Turns out that a 2-pound, 17-inch largemouth had lunched on to the bluegill. It was about all his Spongebob rig could handle, but we got it to the bank. Turned it loose to catch another day. Now he's spoiled -- thinks there should be two fish on the hook every time.

Boreas River, in the High Peaks Wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains...I took this while hunting a few years ago during early muzzleloader season with my Dad...Was quite a ways out there, so it took some map work to determine this was indeed the Boreas. :)

We switched from the old tagging system which was one tag for hide seal and one for meat, they were paper tags with string loops that you tied on to the animal.  Now we switched to a 3 tag system, one antler, one meat and one hide tag that are all plastic adhesive tags.  Saskatchewan actually came up with a smart idea, we're slowly coming around. ;)  P.S. Zach is right. If I took a picture of every beautiful scene in the adirondacks I'd wear out my digitial camera. I took this one this summer very early in the morning over looking a lake my fiance's family has a camp on.

Wow, there are some fantastic photos here!

This is my favorite. It was taken this past July 25th. Being a charter captain, I don't get much time to fish for fun and that day I had one of those precious days off and got my son out on the water. He had his hands full with a striper of close to 40 pounds and was begging for help... All I could do was laugh.  ;D

Great pics Upstate it's cool to see the little guy's excitement!!! I used to tell people that there are 2 types of fishing; fishing with kids, and fishing seriously. I used to enjoy the second more than the first, but now my favorites have changed. Plus it's hard to pull into the driveway and explain where you've been. (kinda like back in high school days 8)) Keep 'em on the ice, but out of the holes ;D
