The ham hocks and beans started simmering away at 7:00 AM. A couple hours like that then the other goodies are gonna get dumped in for a pot of smoky bean 'n ham soup....

Man, I am envious. I love ham & beans, but the wife hates it, so it's not something I eat very often anymore.

You should, it's great! I love it. I make mine thick with lotsa smoked ham chunks in it and carrots, celery, onions, rosemary basil, peppercorns. None of that watery bean soop stuff for me.

Philly steak and fries at a local pub. Wife had a Reuben. Pretty good. Didn't know it came without cheese $:-\$ . But we did stop at DG to get some caramel delight ice cream...and a bottle of chocolate syrup.

Well guys and gals..ive been a bachelor for the last 5 days since the olady and daughter went to Florida on a girls trip and may have made the most unhealthy ridiculous dinner here.do not follow me for recipes.lol i present my version of chili cheese fries.1 bag of cheese,1 can of spicy chili,candied jalapeños and a few curly fries.last few days all i had was onion rings.i just dont feel like dirtying a bunch of dishes.

Lol. Don't sell yourself short Jay. I'd eat a bowl of that stuff in a minute!!! Can't be worse than my PB, Miracle Whip and American cheese sandwich I whip up now and then.
