Tried the pond @ Fair Haven.  Caught 1, 8" crappy.  No other bits from 12-4pm.  Ice is great approx 10" blk ice.  depths ran 2-8 ft.   Marked many on scope, think they were more crappy.  Going back to Lil Sodus Bay on Wednesday.  Had a lot of luck just outside Meadow Bay Area.

If you want to waste time and gas then Fair Haven is the place to be! Now on the other hand, if you want to catch fish then go to either Oneida Lake or Sandy Pond!!! And for the record there is 6-8 inches ice in the bay!!! I was there yesturday morning!
Crappies beware!!! The CrappieAssasin is on the prowl!!!

i fished the big bay (in fair haven) yesterday morning for about 4 hrs. ice was great, fishing was bad, we have had a very hard time finding any decent size perch all year in wayne/cayuga county. any hints?????

have you tried cayuga yet? im not sure on the ice latley. last time i was out was on 1/24 and we limited out 8 in+ perch before 10am out near the red bouy on the north end. been up at college ever since. white swedish pimples and an eyeball worked the best

i just had to make a new profile our names are way too close. but anyways white swedish pimples on bottom rigged up with a small pink jig or one that glows on top up about 6 inches. we were catching doubles all morning. i caught a 12" perch on bottom and a 9" on top. not as good as my bro he caught a double with a pickeral on top and an 8 incher on the bottom
