they put tagged walleye in there if you catch one during food n fuel contest theres a bonus of 300 dollars i heard

i heard of the trout being tagged, but i didnt now they tagged some walleye too :o, that would be a nice bonus to catch a tagged one..

fished today great conditions no prob. getting around at all. lake gave up a nice brown today. but did have to jack the shack up hope to be the last lol :bow:

rode by a couple shacks out there that need to be jacked up some where right down in the ice id get out there and check them guys maybe with the warm spell comin you can get them out good luck.

 I jacked my shack up on Sunday and I will tell you what I am glad I did because I chopped ice for three hours to get at it ! A small pump jack sure comes in handy. The slush and soft spots should start to settle down as long as we don't get another storm right away.

yeh u can use quads out there, it was hard as a rock on wed, theres no snow on it

my anchore ropes broke shack went 15 ft till the trailer tounge dug in lol .wind blew so hard i almost froze to death.
How was the catch today?

there is some BIG pike in great sacandaga,in-laws had a camp on it
in the 40's,50's,and 60's fished it a lot

19'6 Alumacraft, roller trailer...only need about 2 feet to get her off and on.  Let me know if you think that is an issue and Ill save myself the 6 hour round trip.

Rode around the whole lake today,and found that the state launch in the town of day,you probably could get a small boat off the the trailer....bumbs me out that there is no where to get on
