Does Lake Ontario have a fairy?
« on: Feb 23, 2008, 11:10 AM »
Hey, I'm from Sask, and was just wondering if Lake Ontario has a fairy or ship that departs around Toronto and can take you accross to Niagera falls or St. Catherines?

Has to be more than that!  When you look at a map you have to drive all the way around Lake Ontario!  How far is it from Toronto to Oakville?

OK maybe it's a little more than an hour (it was just a quick guess) but I can tell ya for sure that from kingston I can make Mississauga in 3 hours!  From Mississauga it takes me 45-60 mins to get to Hamilton depending on traffic it could take 2 or more hours :o  To answer your question Oakville is approx 40 kms from TO.

Oh ok, I figured with Traffic, it would be more like 3 hours, because I know the Toronto/brampton/missisauga/oakville area is way overpopulated, so I fifured the traffic would be at a standstill, but I guess those highways are pretty wide eh?

Fish Nut

There currently is no ferry service between Toronto and St. Catharines. The drive from Toronto to St Kitts. is just over an hour if you stick to the speed limit. If you leave T.O in the middle of the afternoon you might have problems. Rush hour(s) starts at around 3:00pm and runs until about 7:00pm. Then you are looking at closer to 2 hours. Mapquest has Toroonto to St Catharines at 69 miles. I hope this is helpful. Great fishing all  over th Niagara Region!!

There was a ferry that went from Toronto to Rochester.  The ferry service is no longer in business.  Other that that, I don't know.
