Title: Pflueger President Handle Issue

I just picked up the floor model size 6920 from Cabelas, and noticed that the handle keeps loosening itself up. If I tighten it up too far, it’ll actually lock the handle/reel up. If I back off a bit, as I wind, it’ll just get loose to the point of being floppy! Any thoughts, or should I take it back, and try a new one? (i’d be ordering it this way)

Well, I found a small plastic washer in the box that had somehow fallen off the handle tightening nut!?  Once back on, the handle stays put! Duh!

Whew !    Nice fix.
Maybe someone was messing before you got it?
Mine has the same washer, hm.      ;)2
