You’re getting some of them out of the way Fred …haha. .nice catches I’m hopeful it will freeze up again starting next week …gonna make the 3.5-4 hour drive north as soon as I know is set up good…I’m sure there may be ice up there now but never being there wanna make sure ..I got people keeping me posted so I don’t waste a trip

Fished Hyde lake Friday. Had a nice pile of perch flopping on the ice in no time when a couple local pan fisherman came out and informed us they stopped keeping the perch due to the over abundance of grubs in the fillets so lucky they were alive and back down the hole they went. We stuck around till 5 anyway playing catch and release “practicing” for Saturday





Played keep away from the dinks on Chippewa all Saturday. Only managed a few over 8” but still had fun. Man that water is crystal clear up there


I seen a handful of these at the TI bait shop and remembered filetandrelase posting a couple times about them so I couldn’t walk by without buying a couple. Had success in no time with them. Got some nice perch and a surprise 16” smallmouth on them all weekend 👍😉

Decided Saturday night to head home first thing Sunday to hit a local honey hole of mine for a few hours before going back to reality. Was a beautiful morning and got onto some fish! It kills me to say but that may be my grand finally for the season. I really don’t see any ice within couple hours of me making it through the week 😭. Guess it’s time to start tinkering with the kyak and open water gear. Long as we get warm days with minimal wind I enjoy it as much as icefishing but it is still only February!!! Guess we’ll see what happens. Good luck to anyone still getting out there

when I had my left done I was down for a week , I was told I couldn’t hurt it so it got battle tested 🤪 , each is different I’m hoping for less than a month

My grandpa was pulling back his bow 3 weeks after surgery in a tree stand shot a deer 3 weeks 2 days after surgery Dr told him he was nuts

 Got out for close of eyes fishing , ran into some young guys I know of course they put the hammer down , they made me work  hard to keep up , the ol buzzard did ok against the constant pressure 😃 great time I kept nice eaters
 Tossed some nice fish back biggest fish I saw was a good 6#s , fun evening , and the weather was pleasant
