We need more ambassadors of the sport (like you).  Those kids will undoubtable remember that day the rest of their lives...and you've probably introduced the sport to a few that will enjoy fishing in different forms over a lifetime.

And when you stop to think about it - that is about as good as it gets.  Bet you were/are and AWESOME dad...!

Where was this field trip - what lake?

Thanks all. I haven’t found the friends and family plan tonight. 
But I’ll be back to go for a few hours in the am and then on to the perch. Let’s see if there’s a few left after the derby this weekend.

Very nice!  ;D Tying all the small pieces together and achieving repeated success, is not an easy accomplishment. I certainly struggled out there today for just a meal of keeper Perch.  Congrat's & Best.

Guess I should have gone shallow, sight fishing!  @)

 Nice fish everyone , my bud goon called in a air strike for another bud that 30miles away having a tough time and it paid off
